Golden Co-op Radio is hosting its 3rd Annual General Meeting on March 15, 2024 from 6pm at the station (in the basement of the library at 819 Park Drive, Golden, BC).

You can help guide this new community radio station by becoming a board member.

Here are a few pointers about being on the board:

• you don't need board experience, but you do need to be a good communicator, a self-starter, and able to commit time and energy. 

• suggested minimum time commitment of 6-10 hours per month, plus meetings.

• attend monthly meetings on the second Monday of each month from 6-8pm (in person preferred, online is okay if you'll be out of town). This requires reading some updates and reports ahead of time and then showing up ready to offer suggestions, make decisions, and/or problem-solve. 

• this is a working board, meaning that board members are carrying out the tasks required for operations as well as offering strategic planning and oversight.

• you'd be asked to get involved with one of our committees, which often involves another meeting every month or two. We currently have four: Marketing and Member Engagement, Establishment and Tech, Programming, and Finance.
