We are thrilled to announce that we’ve received our very first grant.

Golden Co-op Radio is a proud new member of the National Campus and Community Radio Association. We hear there’s a lot of support and sharing amongst community stations, and we’re looking forward to being mentored in these early days and hopefully offering mentorship one day in the future.

We are now incorporated as a ‘community service not-for-profit co-operative’ which means we are an official legal entity under the BC Cooperative Association Act.

Two of us have recently completed the second phase of the Co-operate Now: Co-op Development Bootcamp through BC Co-op Association. This round of the three week online program was all about the business side of running a cooperative.
